Jonathan “Jon” Ford Benham, a resident of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, is a dedicated attorney admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2014. With a diverse and accomplished background, he brings a wealth of legal knowledge and experience to his practice.
A graduate of Perry High School in 2007, Jon pursued higher education at Oklahoma State University. In 2011, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, complemented by a Minor in Marketing and a Minor in Sports Management. His academic journey laid a solid foundation for his future legal endeavors.
Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Jon attended Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2014. Throughout his law school tenure, he distinguished himself by serving in various capacities. He interned under Judge Lumpkin of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, where he honed his legal research and analytical skills. Additionally, he interned with the Corporate Counsel at Western Farmers Electric Cooperative, gaining valuable insights into corporate law. Notably, he also contributed as a student mentor in the Advanced American Indian Wills Clinic at Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Balancing academic pursuits with practical experience, Jon worked as a Sales Associate for Locke Supply CO. during his studies at both Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma City University School of Law. This experience equipped him with valuable interpersonal and communication skills, enhancing his ability to connect with clients.
Jon is an esteemed member of the legal community, affiliated with the Kingfisher County Bar Association, Garfield County Bar Association, and the Oklahoma Bar Association. His admission to practice in front of all Oklahoma state courts, the Federal District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals reflects his commitment to providing legal representation with excellence and integrity.
